From Souffle To...

Rama and I went to a popular Italian restaurant last night for dinner. We had a cheese platter to start, followed by a spaghetti dish (spaghetti al limone, with spinach and capers) that we split. All very civilized. Dessert time. I asked her if she wanted some dessert.

Rama: Do they have suman?

No suman in Southern Italy. So no dessert for us that night.

And that's just what I love about her -- souffle and suman are on equal footing. Dapat lang, 'di ba?!

Go the suman!! Hey why don't you keep going and make it a birthday week... you two can celebrate with Nuit Blanche there in Toronto this weekend!

Hi, R. Yes I will be out and about on Saturday night for that contemporary art thing. But it will be just myself and perhaps a couple of vakla friends. (Rama with her papi this weekend). The search is still on for suman in Toronto.
