And it was pretty amazing ("The mountains fly up!" was how Rama described the set changes). Rama woke up this morning singing the songs. The nuns are her favorite - she re-enacts them.

This surprises many, but I just love "The Sound of Music!" Whenever Felipe and I happen to catch it on TV, we end up watching it all over again. Years ago, a friend who sings in a goth band did a goth version of "My Favorite Things." That made me realize how many of us there are who may not look it, but are big fans of the musical. :-)
Rama's outfit proves to me that she will grow up to be a very cool dresser. The different items she's wearing may not seem like they'd match, but she carries the whole look well. Love it!
SOM is a classic! It's so earnest and irony-free - that it's cool. Ah, the outfit. More a function of the weather than style. (Wanted to wear a frilly dress, but it's cold, hence the tights.) I just let her wear whatever she wants, as long as she stays warm - bahala na si batman! And the outfit the following day matched better, promise.
