Kwentong Canton

I realized that Rama was spending way too much time at her Papi's house after this exchange:

Me: Rama, I can make you brocolli tonight! Would you want that?
Rama: Can you make... pancit canton?

And from what I know of his household, the pancit canton there is more the Lucky kind.

I love your blog! Your Rama is laugh-out-loud, the real thing. =)
Curious, where in Toronto do you get Lucky Me (and the like) pancit canton?!

Hi, bexieville! your dad is absolutely right. but it's true, it's so good.

Hey, nice! i guess it's ok, ocassionally.

Hi, Jen. Pinoys here get their supply from Filipino stores - lots all around, but more in Scarborough. Also, Chinese groceries - they carry the usual Pinoy stuff like Mama Sita, Maggi, Knorr, Lucky Me, Milo, Sky Flakes, etc. There's one store in front of Canadian Tire on the Danforth.

Belated Happy birthday Poch!! Hope you had a wonderful day. What did you guys do? Was Cirque part of the celebration? :)

Thanks, Mila!

Hey, Nena! Thanks much. Yes, cirque was part of the day. I treated Rama and myself to that. Later in the evening, it was an adult-only event, a drag show. And coincidentally, the city hosted an all-night art crawl. Got home at 2am. It was all good. :-)
