In child rearing, the question of pets will somehow figure in the equation. Rama and her Papi are contemplating getting a pet.
Rama: Gusto ko, cat.
Papi: Gusto ko, dog.
Rama: Sige. Ganito na lang. Cat na mukhang dog.

Hahaha!!! Clever little Rama! Mahirap maghanap ng cat na mukhang dog. If she agrees to a dog na mukhang cat, and if her Papi agrees too, those small lapdogs might be a good compromise. Though, I know that most men want big guard dogs...
We used to have a big, black lab. A really guwapo dog. She enjoys big dogs, but moreso cats. Even as a toddler! She would pick up strays.
I think this is one argument that Rama will eventually win. Abangan. :-)
